Handmade Brass Cantilevered Chalice

The chalice is composed of a cup and eventually of a sub-cup, knot and foot. Cups could be regular, flared or with an edge on the sub-cup
They are realized in laboratory. A cup is made of silver and then gold plated, otherwise it can be made of brass and then golden plated. It can also be externally gilded or in silver plated ( in this case they are considered two-colours).
The knot has different styles, and, in some items, it can be considered together with the sub-cup.

Finishing can be silver, golden or two-colours plated.
Chalices have different styles: from simplicity and sobriety shapes, to the chiselled preciousness items with stones.
The outside of cups and the whole body of chalices are protected with a Vitrex transparent painting, which is baked. This additional treatment saves the item from fingerprints, dust or humidity.

All the chalices can be customized, made in copper, brass or totally in silver with the possibility to engrave a dedication.
