The ewer contains holy water and it is used by priests during liturgial ablutions, such as: Baptism, Ash Wednesday and the Washing of feet. All the ewers of the company are composed by a dish and a basin, in order to gather the holy water after the ablution. Finishings can be in silver or gold.
Everything is externally painted with Vitrex, a transparent film to protect the finiture from fingerprints, dust and moisture.
