The new entrance portal to the church is made of bronze using the lost-wax technique. On its outer surface, the figure of the Virgin Mary, to whom the church is dedicated, takes shape in the act of 'welcoming' under her large cloak the prayers of all those in need who turn to Her.
The figure is enveloped in a luminous aura that almost seems to originate from the welcoming gesture of the Virgin Mary and evokes the circular shape of the world she unconditionally and totally welcomed.
