The large artistic stained glass window placed in the area of the Baptistery of the Papal Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls presents a modern and symbolic design: a grid of light that in its regular geometry is a filter that breaks down in the encounter with the simplicity and power of the central band, a symbol of a ray of divine light emanating from the Holy Spirit.
The geometry and the warm, soft colors of the blown glass echo the characteristic signs of the surrounding architecture, creating uniformity: the modernity of the stained-glass window thus harmoniously coexists with the "ancient breath" of the place that welcomes it.
In order not to impact the architecture, the frame supporting the stained glass window is anchored to the wall at only 4 points while the glass has been shaped to follow the shape of the wall.
