Stained Glass and Leadlight Creation

Glass, Stained Glass, Murano Glass, Mosaic, Blown Glass, Tiffany
The lead binding is the traditional technique used for the creation of stained glass, dating back to the earliest examples in the history of this kind of glass art.
It differs from the copper foil technique, known as "Tiffany", which emerged in the early 20th century and does not employ lead but rather a adhesive tin-plated copper ribbon.

The lead came technique has always been used for the creation of stained glass windows, while the Tiffany technique, on the other hand, was primarily designed for objects such as lamps or chandeliers, and in any case is suitable for works composed of very small tesserae.
