Vetreria d'Arte Gamberini

Vetreria d’Arte Gamberini (VDG) is the oldest workshop in Bologna dedicated to the creation and conservation of artistic stained glass, active since 1965. The activity has its roots in 1947, when the founder, Raffaele Gamberini, began his professional career as a stained glass artist. Today, VDG boasts a strong connection with the Bologna area and qualified international partnerships.

Since 2022, the studio has been managed by stained glass conservator Camilla Cevolani, who has nine years of hands-on experience in the field. Vetreria d’Arte Gamberini celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2025 and continues to be an active professional presence locally, with growing international collaborations, as well as recent training—both practical and academic—in the conservation of ancient stained glass, undertaken in Italy, France, England, and Germany.
