Entry cubicle - Chiesa S. Maria Ausiliatrice (Civitanova Marche)
Glass, Blown Glass
"Follow me, I will make you fishers of men". And they immediately left their nets and followed him.
(Matthew 4:19-20)
The design and colours of the new entrance doors to the main hall of the church (one main and two side doors), are a symbolic - liturgical reference to the above-mentioned passage from the Gospel of Matthew.
The bands of blue-blown glass, which become white in the central part of doors, are crossed from top to bottom by the decorative design of a net evoking the Christ's exhortation to apostles; Jesus is then evoked by the figure of the fish in blown glass and metal that becomes the handle of the doors.
