MONSTRANCE-RELIQUARY WITH GOLD OLIVE BASE, TRANSPARENT PLEXIGLASS SHRINE

This monstrance is made of metal (brass) with internal support (where applied) made of transparent plexiglass. Its base is realized in microfusion or on a lathe-turned plate or in transparent plexiglass. Both stem and ornamental motifs (shoot - branches - ears of corn - olive) are realized with the wax microfusion technique. All single parts are hand-welded, with a galvanic bath in 18K gold or silver 925‰; with additional transparent antioxidant protection (only on the ornamental part and stem). The monstrance is mounted (where applied) with crystals of different colors and cuts. Among those crystals: ruby / brilliant / emerald/sapphire are meant as Swarovski crystals.

Each object is the result of a deep handcrafted process.
