Byzant has been producing hand-painted icons since 1997, made on fine wood using ancient techniques of byzantine iconography. All icons are entirely handmade and hand-painted by skilled master iconographs of the Romanian school. In 2004 our collection has been enriched with a new collection: cases for sacred texts. These are all created in our laboratory in Altamura, our products are handcrafted by carefully selecting the best materials. In our laboratory we produce wooden liturgical furniture such as altars, candlesticks, stands and kneelers in solid wood.
